The first thing to do is make sure you walk is listed in Group Walks and Events Manager (GWEM) so it appears in the app.
In GWEM there is a field called Description this is the text that is used in the app. We recommend you use this field to describe and 'sell' your walk. Tell people about the walk, things they may see and any important additional information - such as the local car park or to bring a packed lunch.
On the app you can submit up to four images for a walk. To do this simply take your phone with you when you recce the walk, go to the walk listing and choose Add Photo.
With Apple you will be asked to choose from Use Camera or Choose from Photo Library - choose Use Camera. Take your photo and, if you are happy with it click on Use Photo in the bottom right hand courner. You will see an upload complete message and your photos should show up on your walk on the same day - it may take a few hours.
With Android you will be asked to allow the app to access photos, media and files on your device, click allow. You will then be able to take a photo, once you have done this you can either Retake or Submit. Once you have submitted your photo you will see an upload complete message and your photos should show up on your walk on the same day - it may take a few hours.
